Thousands of Astroworld Injuries Cited by Lawyers Representing Mob Members

The number of people injured at Astroworld last year was astronomically higher than initially estimated, at least if you believe the attorneys representing the alleged victims.

Sean Roberts, jason atkins Y richard mithoff – whose firms are representing dozens of people who sued over the tragedy in a class-action-style lawsuit – filed a new document setting out the number of death and injury claims from the astroworld tragedy.

According to paperwork obtained by TMZ, the attorneys say their findings so far show that in addition to the 10 people who died …uncovered an additional claim of 732 who were seriously injured, classifying this group as requiring “extensive medical treatment.”

Another 1,649 say they sustained injuries that required “less extensive medical treatment,” and another 2,540 people said they sustained injuries that are still being reviewed.

In all, lawyers say 4,900 people were injured or killed during the stampede.

Here’s the thing… the document doesn’t specify what exactly are the criteria that distinguish each category of injuries, it just gives the raw statistics. Presumably the details will be dissected at a later date.

In any case, the fact that they claim thousands of people were harmed as a result of what happened at Astroworld is shocking, especially since initial estimates were closer to 300 or 400, tops.

The case is still working in the system. As we have reported, Travis Scott and others have responsibility denied by the tragedy to some extent so far.
