Kelly Osbourne shares the very good reason she has been very quiet these past few months: “she’s going to be a mom.”
Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne’s 37-year-old daughter revealed the news on Instagram on Thursday along with photos of her holding ultrasound photos.
“I am delighted to announce that I am going to be a mom,” she captioned the post with pregnancy and heart emojis. “Saying I’m happy isn’t enough. I’m ecstatic!”
Before making the announcement, more than two months had passed since Osbourne’s last Instagram post.
Her boyfriend, musician Sid Wilson, also shared a close-up of the ultrasound on his Instagram along with heart emojis.
In February, Osbourne marked the couple’s 23-year friendship that turned into a romantic relationship. “You are my best friend, my soulmate and I am deeply in love with you, Sidney George Wilson,” she wrote.
Sharon Osbourne also shared the news on her Instagram, writing, “My ❤️ couldn’t be more full! I’m so excited to share the beautiful journey with you guys.”

Osbourne rose to fame on the reality show about his famous family “The Osbournes” and later appeared on “Fashion Police.”
The former reality star opened up last year about her substance abuse and a setback she encountered during the COVID-19 pandemic, revealing in April 2021 that she relapsed into alcohol after nearly four years of sobriety.
“I don’t know why my nervous breakdown happened at the end of the lockdown. I achieved everything, everything was great and my life was perfect,” he said in an interview with Extra. “I’m that girl that when everything is going well, I need to (expletive) get a little better and make everything a little worse in my life.”
She said she convinced herself she was “no longer an addict” after experiencing a series of personal ups and downs, including “all my career goals were met” and landing an “amazing boyfriend.”

But the star said her relapse has solidified that she will have to fight for sobriety “for the rest of her life”, adding: “It will never be easy.” She added that she decided to share her story to help others. In a subsequent Instagram post, she also shared that she was “back to normal.”
