Halsey reveals she suffers from FOUR syndromes and is ‘allergic to everything’ ahead of tour

On Tuesday, three-time Grammy nominee Halsey revealed that she suffers from four different health conditions: Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, Sjögren syndrome, mast cell activation syndrome and postural orthostatic tachycardia.

Ehlers-Danlos syndrome is a group of 13 inherited connective tissue disorders that affect your connective tissues, primarily your skin, joints, and blood vessel walls. Symptoms include pain, fatigue, overly flexible joints, and fragile/elastic skin.

Sjögren’s syndrome is a systemic autoimmune disease that causes extensive dryness and can cause fatigue, chronic pain, organ dysfunction, neuropathies, and lymphomas.

Mast cell activation syndrome is a condition that increases the risk of anaphylaxis (a life-threatening allergic reaction).

Postural orthostatic tachycardia is a disorder in which most of the blood remains in the lower part of the body when you stand up, and in response, the heart rate increases and blood pressure decreases.

The 27-year-old biracial pop star’s dramatic diagnosis came after she was hospitalized with anaphylaxis ‘a few times’ and saw ‘100,000 doctors’ to help figure out the cause of her chronic illness.

“Obviously my health has changed a lot since I got pregnant and gave birth and started getting really, really, really sick. I was a little sick most of my adult life, but it started to get worse,’ Halsey, who has 68.7 million social media followers, admitted via Instastory.

‘I’m still looking for answers to the root cause of some of these things. They could potentially be another form of autoimmune disease.
