Ohio State walk-on wide receiver transferring

Four-year Ohio State walk-on wide receiver Sam Wiglusz is transferring to another program according to an announcement made on his Twitter account.

Wiglusz did register some stats during his time in the scarlet and gray, notching three catches for 25 yards in his career, but he was mostly practicing hard working to make those that logged most of the time on the field better.

The 5-foot, 11-inch, 189-pounder out of Brecksville-Broadview Heights in Ohio could have probably started at many other colleges in the country, and now he’ll get that chance in Athens, Ohio, with the Bobcats.

“Forever grateful for my time at Ohio State,” Wiglusz posted on his personal Twitter account. “The things I’ve learned, experiences I’ve had, and people I’ve met have changed my life and I’ve loved every second of it. However, I’m really excited for what’s next, and happy to announce I’ll be grad-transferring to Ohio University.”

As always, we wish Wiglusz nothing but the best in the MAC.
