— Seattle startup SoundCommerce acquired Outlier.ai and brought on its founder Steve Davis as chief revenue officer.

Founded by Amazon vets in 2018, SoundCommerce aims to help online retailers improve operational efficiency by gathering their data across various systems and channels.

Bay Area-based Outlier.ai launched in 2015 and sells automated business analysis software. SoundCommerce is adding seven Outlier employees to its team, including Davis, who held the same role at Outlier and has more than 25 years of enterprise and technical sales experience.

SoundCommerce raised $15 million in a Series A round last year.

Other personnel changes across the Pacific Northwest tech industry:

— Seattle data storage startup Qumulo added two executives: Eric Brodersen as chief customer officer and Kiran Bageshpur as chief technology officer. Brodersen was previously COO and president at Impinj. Bageshpur was CEO and founder of Igneous, which sold to Rubrik in 2020. Both also previously worked at Isilon Systems.

— Seattle entrepreneur Diane Lansinger joined Pioneer Square Labs as entrepreneur-in-residence working on a recruiting platform to connect potential workers with manufacturing jobs. Lansinger was CEO and co-founder of SEEVA Technologies, an autonomous driving technology startup, and most recently led Staging & Design Network (SDN), a furniture rental marketplace for the home staging industry.
